Established in 2010, ProfessionalPortfolio.net was originally developed for teachers using the Mahara eportfolio platform (big thanks to Nigel, Penny and everyone involved with Mahara - we love it!) and later expanded to include other professions.

Career professionals need evidence of their growth and achievements over time. The professional portfolio is a vehicle for collecting and presenting that evidence.

We have developed a free service that allows individuals to develop electronic portfolios by collecting, reflecting on and sharing their achievements and development online, in a space they control.

It also allows communities of professionals and even businesses to create online communities and social network through groups, blogs and forums .

The system supports text, images, video audio clips and much more. There is also a resume-building tool that is highly customizable and easy to use.
